“In The Darkness”
Parents will understand me when I say this was a perilous shot… I took the calculated risk of waking up Jasmine to capture it. I visualized it as I was putting her to bed and had to come back for it later. There’s quite a gap between our bedroom door and the floor, letting more than enough light peer through to make it interesting. The result is a very low key photograph with lots of negative space… I’m curious to see what you think of it.

i really like this. it has a sunrise as viewed from the space shuttle look to it. it’s very nice.
Superbe photo, techniquement il n’y a franchement rien à redire. Le piqué est excellent et ça m’impressionne à chaque fois. Au delà de la technique, c’est plutôt bien trouvé, je n’y aurais sans doute jamais penser :p !

I find it very interesting that you’d say this, Pat. My dad commented it reminded him of a plane wing. Indeed, I have a photo of a sunrise reflecting on a plane wing as I was approaching JFK and it looks a lot like this. I unfortunately never went on board the space shuttle so I couldn’t comment on that one
