“Sunset Over Arthur Ashe Stadium”
The sunset occurred right after Djokovic defeated Verdasco. A fifth set would have added some interest to this shot but it didn’t happen. I couldn’t do much about that. What I could have done though, is remember to shoot more than one frame and stitch them into a panorama of the stadium. That mental note I made to myself somehow escaped during the game. The cloud cover was really thick today so I actually feel lucky I got some colors from the sunset. Not a bad view of New York City’s skyline either!
