“Sunset Over Arthur Ashe Stadium”
The sunset occurred right after Djokovic defeated Verdasco. A fifth set would have added some interest to this shot but it didn’t happen. I couldn’t do much about that. What I could have done though, is remember to shoot more than one frame and stitch them into a panorama of the stadium. That mental note I made to myself somehow escaped during the game. The cloud cover was really thick today so I actually feel lucky I got some colors from the sunset. Not a bad view of New York City’s skyline either!

Excellente photo, super dynamique de couleurs et lecture facilité par un cadrage en 3 parties très cohérent (le court, les gradins et la ville). Une des plus belles photo de ton thème jusqu’à présent.
Chapeau bas, tu montres encore une belle maitrise avec ton 5D.

Si j’en avais l’opportunité, je retournerai chaque jour pour prendre cette même photo. Avec un peu de chance je finirai par tomber sur l’instant parfait où toutes les conditions seraient réunies pour en faire quelque chose de vraiment grandiose. Après, direction imprimante. Il me faudra attendre l’année prochaine maintenant… Allez, au boulot, j’ai hâte de voir tes nouvelles photos.
