“Sea Salt Crystals”
I’ve always worked better under pressure… so it didn’t come as a surprise that I took this shot between 11:59 PM and midnight. Yes, again. No, I won’t fail. I poured some sea salt crystals on a slab of black marble before using yesterday’s macro setup. While it does look like a black and white photograph, it’s not. I found that the color version, while lacking in that department, added some subtle depth to the crystals. The fact that they are mostly broken is a shame… but if you look carefully, you can find clues as to their natural pyramidal shape.
