“Gummy Bears”
It’s been a couple of days now that I am having fun with the close-up lens kit. With their vivid colors and translucency, the gummy bears were a perfect subject. Perhaps I am being too hard on myself, but I feel mixed about the end result, and can only blame myself for it. I needed a better light for this shot, no question about it: the blown out parts are really distracting. While I’m happy with the concept and see a lot of potential for it, I executed it sloppily. To my defense, I didn’t have much time… Which brings me to the bottom line: it takes time to set up a great shot. On a different note, it now should no longer be a secret that I have a weakness for sweets!
