“Feed The Machine”
Initially, my plan was to get a good shot of the electric plant located on our way to the supermarket. Unfortunately, the point of view that I thought had an interesting angle was obstructed by vegetation. In the same place were two old and rusty trucks, serendipitous subjects I was glad to stumble upon. I took a few photographs while my wife and daughter were waiting in the car.
Apparently, passersby were confused and intrigued as to what I was doing. Well, what can I say, the garbage truck inspired me. You wouldn’t think so by looking at it, but I believe it still is in use. The pistons were in great shape and the trash looked fairly recent. The shadow bothered me a little as I was taking the shot, but it actually worked well here, casting a different, cooler light on the exposed metal.
