“Woolly Bear”
We spent the afternoon at the Muscoot farm, a great place for families with its numerous animals and hiking trails. Today’s guided hike objective was to take a closer look at wildlife. While we did not see any deer, which probably wasn’t a bad thing since hunting season had just begun, we saw many little critters including this woolly bear caterpillar.
This little guy was actually climbing the rock vertically, but I thought that rotating the photograph 90 degrees made for a much stronger image. You are welcome to tilt your head to see what it really looked like when I took the shot. Given this is not a macro lens, I wasn’t unhappy with the result.
