“Do Not Cross”
After the last photos I took, you might start to wonder how safe our neighborhood really is. The ominous subjects I captured are actually very easy to overlook. One would probably focus on the nice Victorian houses instead. This police line has been left there for a while and I knew I’d capture it one of these days when lacking time or inspiration. Today was the day. The wind blowing on the line didn’t make it easy, throwing it out of the depth of field at times and forcing me to keep a faster shutter speed. I certainly didn’t get that one right on the first try. I decided against a black and white conversion since the yellow of the police line is such a recognizable staple.
