“The Fire Sprinkler”

Whenever I see a fire sprinkler, it reminds me of a photo I once saw, whom photographer won a prestigious prize for. I can’t remember if it was the Pulitzer… and I can’t find any reference to it. The photographer actually triggered the fire alarm of an hotel, sending guests running around in panic and water gushing out of the sprinklers. He documented it and caught a winner. Whether he deserved it or not is another story. The truth came out later, obviously. A lesson never to take everything at face value.

“Peeking Through The Snow”

Wow, it’s been a long time. Over a month since I last updated my blog. I will do just that over the next few days. Here’s one to remind me that winter is not over yet, although the snow has left town. I took it on our front lawn. The shrubs were covered in such a thick layer you wouldn’t know they were there… well, almost.
