Day 469 – A Late Night Peek At An American Street

Walking along the Bronx river, I found this place where water would ripple in a very painterly way, reflecting the surrounding trees and clear blue sky in charming patterns. It reminded me of the work of John Harris, an oil painter we met at the Armonk Outdoor Art Show last September, which consisted almost exclusively of such water ripples. I loved it for its abstract qualities.
